Graduate of UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelors degree in pre and early modern literature and a Bachelors degree in history of art and visual culture with honors in the major. One year at Deutschkolleg, Stuttgart, an intensive language institute in Stuttgart, Germany, and one year at the Fine Arts Academy in Stuttgart.

Experience

I have one year previous experience as a Spanish tutor, but have since shifted my interest to German studies. I want to be a tutor of the subject to share my experiences in Germany, where I studied for two years, with other students interested in the language and culture. I lived in the south of the country, but was trained in high German. Therefore I have had exposure to different dialects. I have my European German certification after completing the Deutsch als Fremdsprache (German as a Foreign Language) Exam in July of 2010.
